A super lightweight Tele reappears....

A few years back, an amazing Custom Shop '52 Tele arrived at Truetone Music. Everyone here was amazed at how lightweight it was, not to mention how great it played and sounded. It was quickly snapped up by one of our best customers. Now this guitar has made its way back here and is available again. If you're looking for an amazing Tele that is super light (6.5 lbs), then this is the one for you.

Although this guitar was built in 2006, the C of A is dated 2016. The previous owner misplaced the original C of A. In 2016 Fender was not backdating C of A's and used the current day and year when re printing them.

This 1952 Telecaster Relic in Honey Blonde features a lightweight ash body, perfect aged and relic'ed by the experts at the Custom Shop. The 52 "U" neck shape is perfect for players that want a thicker, classic early Tele feel, but also has a 9.5" radius for easy playability.

The Custom Shop '51 Nocaster pickups are true to their heritage; created with the original design in mind to accurately mimic the twang and shimmer of the original Nocaster guitar. These period-correct single-coil pickups impart tight low end and clear, balanced midrange. They have enamel-coated magnet wire for warm vintage tone, flush-mount magnets for even string response, alnico 3 magnets for more focus and enhanced dynamics, a tin-plated copper base plate, and period-correct cloth output wire and fiber bobbin.
