Debuting in 1961, the Fender® Bass VI six-string bass quickly became a favorite secret weapon in the arsenals of producers and players seeking to add extra sonic depth to their sound. Beloved of both guitarists and bassists, the Bass VI earned its place in the mix, appearing on a surprisingly large and diverse array of recordings over the ensuing decades.  If you're played a Fender Bass VI before, you know how versatile and useful it can be, especially in the studio.  

With a gently aged Journeyman Relic® lacquer finish on its lightweight two-piece alder body, this beautifully crafted 60's style Bass VI  radiates an impressively stylish aura.  The ’60s-style oval "C” neck profile is very comfortable to play, even for guitarists that aren't used to such an instrument, topped with 9.5”-radius dark rosewood fingerboard and vintage frets.  Three shielded single-coil Jaguar pickups, plus the vintage Bass VI wiring with On/Off pickup switches and bass cut, give you the classic sound of a Bass VI with plenty of tonal options.

A four-ply nitrocellulose tortoise shell pickguard, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, and “wing” string tree complete it.  Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
