This 2002 Dave King Slidecaster is one of only 7 produced by the luthier, combining the modern style and playability of a Telecaster with the sound of a vintage lapsteel, making them the ideal electric slide guitar.
The Koa body features a beautiful natural grain to the wood, and is fitted with a lipstick style single coil in the neck position, with an original early 1950s Oahu lapsteel pickup in the bridge position. This combination makes it extremely versatile, covering a range of sounds and playing styles, particularly when combined with the added resonance of the semi hollow 'F' hole design.
This guitar is in excellent all original condition, and includes a deluxe Calton flight case. This guitar has been given a full service & setup by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
