2018 Xotic Custom XSC-2

Hand built in California, Xotic Custom Guitars put a modern twist on classic electric styles, with a build quality and tone that has seen the used by stage and studio musicians around the world. This 2018 Xotic California Classic XSC-2 is a fantastic example of their craftsmanship, with hand selected woods for optimum tone and resonance, and handwound pickups that are among the best in their field.

Based around a classic Stratocaster shape, the Alder body is finished in a Light Aged Shell Pink, gently relic'd to replicate years of playing. The body is lightweight, with a nitro finish that allows the wood to ring out and resonate as it should. The Roasted Flame Maple neck has an extraordinary tiger stripe grain pattern, and features a Modern C Shape neck profile, 12" radius and Rosewood fingerboard, with a supremely comfortable and quick playing action. Gotoh vintage style locking tuners and a Gotoh vintage style bridge deliver incredible tuning stability and intonation.

Xotic's own custom would Raw Vintage pickups is where these guitars really set themselves apart tonally, all hand wound in the LA factory. The body is fitted with a pair of Xotic RV-60 singlecoil pickups deliver vintage Strat style chime and definition. The bridge position is fitted with an RV-PAF humbucker, with Alnico magnets for a balanced, punchy sound with great low-end response. This guitar includes its original case and paperwork.

This guitar is in excellent, all original condition, and has been given a full service & appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop. This guitar also includes a 3 year warranty.
