Yet another example of the fine work produced by Gibson Custom Shop, this 2008 R9 Les Paul is a exceptionally crafted recreation of a 1959 'Burst.' Constructed from a Mahogany body with traditional set Mahogany neck and dark Rosewood fingerboard, this guitar features a particularly vibrant flamed maple top. The body is fitted with a set of Gibson Custombucker P.A.F style humbuckers for authentically vintage Les Paul tone, and all other hardware is recreated with a huge amount of attention to detail to ensure it is accurate to vintage specs.
This guitar is in excellent condition, with barely any signs of play wear to speak of, and with the pickguard even retaining its original custom shop sticker. It is internally and externally original, and includes its original Gibson reissue Lifton style brown case.
This guitar has been given a full service & setup by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
