Late 1950's Gibson Les Pauls are often seen as the pinnacle of solid body electric guitar manufacturing, and these early '90s reissues are as close as you'll get to the vintage tone and build quality of an original model. This fantastic 1991 Gibson '57 Reissue Les Paul Custom is based on an earlier spec '57 Les Paul Custom, before the model changed to three PAF pickups as opposed to two. This guitar features a Mahogany body and neck along with an Ebony fingerboard and the typical custom style block inlays and split diamond peghead logo. The Grover tuners and hardware are all gold, as was the standard for this model at the time, and the body is fitted with a set of Classic '57 humbucker pickups.
These models were released two years before the official Historic range was produced by the Gibson Custom Shop, and as such are often know as Pre-Historic models. This guitar is in excellent condition and shows only very minor signs of use.
As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a thorough service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 3 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty. This guitar also includes its original case.
