1990 Jerry Jones Shorthorn signed by Jimmy Page
1990 Jerry Jones Shorthorn signed by Jimmy Page
Nashville based guitar maker Jerry Jones started making guitars in the early 1980's, and has consistently produced some of the finest recreations of vintage Danelectro, Silvertone and Coral guitars on the market. These guitars have gained quite the cult following, offering the same tone and vibe of their vintage counterparts while avoiding some of the quirks and inconsistencies that can come with buy the original guitars. This 1990 Shorthorn model features a set of hand wound lipstick tube pickups that perfectly recreate the honky tone of the originals, along with a rosewood fingerboard and typically flat 14.5" radius. Other features such as the adjustable bridge with rosewood saddle and coke bottle headstock design ensure the looks stay true to the original '50s models. This guitar was signed by Jimmy Page a number of years ago when visiting Vintage & Rare Guitars, where it was on sale at the time.
This guitar is in very good, all original condition, and has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop. It also includes its original hard case, written provenance of the Jimmy Page signature, and a 3 year warranty.
