1989 Guild JF212-XL
The original Guild F212-XL models appeared in 1970 and remained a popular part of the Guild catalog throughout the '70s and early '80s, with their slightly larger than Jumbo profile sounding punchy and defined as only the best Guild guitars can. This 1989 JF212-XL is from the first production year that the model was reintroduced, and is essentially the same spec as the previous F212-XL models. Designed as the 12 string counterpart to the F50 model, this guitar features a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides. As with all Guild 12 strings of this period, this guitar has a brilliant, lush sound with plenty of volume.
This guitar is in excellent condition, and looks to have barely been played, with very few signs of wear to speak of. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
