1986 Gibson Les Paul Studio Standard
1986 Gibson Les Paul Studio Standard
First introduced in 1983, the Gibson Les Paul Studio was designed to fill a gap in the market for a more affordable Les Paul that still retained the same tone a build quality as higher priced Standard and Custom models. This 1986 Gibson Les Paul Studio Standard is a great example of this. This guitar features a Mahogany body with 3 piece Maple top, a Maple neck with Ebony fretboard with cream single ply body and neck binding, all finished in a deep Wine Red laquer. The body is fitted with a set of Tim Shaw designed humbuckers that have all the bite and rich tone you would expect from a Gibson made PAF style pickup.
This guitar is in very good cosmetic condition and plays excellently. It also retains its original Gibson hard case.
