1977 Fender Telecaster Deluxe
1977 Fender Telecaster Deluxe
The Telecaster Deluxe was introduced in 1972 as the companies first dual humbucker guitar, forgoing the traditional single coil sound of Fender instruments in response to the growing desire for a fuller, heavy rock sound that had made Gibson solid bodies so popular towards the end of the '60s and start of the '70s. This model from 1977 features a slab body with three bolt neck design, finished in a gloss black. The neck has a typical late '70s profile and is very comfortable in the hand, also featuring the larger Strat style headstock. The original Seth Lover designed Wide Range Humbucker pickups sound fantastic, and offer the depth and warmth of a traditional humbucker while retaining some of the chime and clarity that Fender guitars are renowned for.
This guitar is in very good condition, and is mostly original with the exception of the pickup selector switch and wiring. The wide range pickups, caps, pots and all hardware are original. This guitar also includes a non original hard case.
This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
