One of the more iconic models in Guild history, the Starfire has been used by the likes of Muddy Waters, Jerry Garcia and countless others over the years. This 1965 Starfire V model is a great example of a mid '60s Guild hollowbody. It features a classic cherry red finish and a set of Guild Humbuckers with slightly more chime and brightness than their Gibson equivalent. As a top of the line model at the time, the Starfire V also features deluxe appointments like Grover tuners and a Bigsby vibrato as standard.
This guitar is in excellent condition. It has been over sprayed on the back and has been refretted, but is otherwise original.
