1930 National Triolian Tenor
1930 National Triolian Tenor
National resonators throughout the 20th century have been synonymous with blues & Hawaiian steel guitar playing, and the company also produced a range of lesser seen folk instruments, including Tenor guitars and Ukuleles, that utilised the same steel body resonator design. This 1930 Triolian Tenor guitar is a wonderful example of precisely this - a pre-war National, with a steel body single cone design folk instrument for the golden age of National resonators. This tenor is in very good condition for its age, displaying the kind of wear and patina you would expect from a pre war resonator, although the original Walnut finish is still in great condition. The original biscuit bridge is present and correct, along with the original resonator cone and tuners.
This guitar is in very good overall condition, and has been through our Vintage Instrument Workshop for a full service, including a neck set, to ensure it is playing and sounding as good as possible. This instrument includes a three year warranty with our workshop, and is the perfect partner to our 1930 National Triolian six string steel guitar.
